TAKES-GIVING: NATIONAL DAY OF MOURNING ROUND DANCE

Join us as we come together for a National Day of Mourning, a day to honor our ancestors, stand in our truths, and nourish our people with culture, ceremony, and community.
1:00 PM – Community Feast (Nibi Hall)
We will be serving a full meal until it’s gone: turkey, ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes & gravy, wild rice, bread, cranberry sauce, mixed veggies, and pumpkin pie.
2:30 PM – Pipe Ceremony (Gym)
Led by Pipeman Fred Desjarlaït. All pipe carriers are invited.
3:00 PM – Takes-Giving Round Dance (Gym)

Invited singers: Tommy “The Gun” Benjamin & Thomas Butcher
First 10 singers receive $100
Spot dances and raffle throughout the evening
